There's no shortage of resources on campus to help you grow personally and professionally. We’re here to help you take advantage of them! Please talk to your supervisor about your interest and their expectations around student workshop attendance.

Additionally, while this workshop schedule was created with SEE students in mind, we welcome any Ohio State students to join us!

Resume Workshop

Your resume is often your first chance to make a positive impression on a prospective employer. Whether this is your first time writing a resume, or you are looking for tips to update and tailor your resume for a new opportunity, this workshop will provide you with relevant and practical information. We will also lay the foundation of resume-making by first discussing how to mindful of your career vision. Join us to learn more about what to include on your resume, how to format it and how to make it stand out.

Leveraging Handshake and Job Search Strategies for Undergraduates

Do you want to connect with employers, research job and internship opportunities, and even chat with students who have already had your dream job or internship? Every Ohio State student can explore job and internship opportunities through Handshake. You will learn how to make the most out of Handshake to find a part time job, internship, or full time job. This workshop will empower you to research potential employers, and to use Handshake to contact them. You will also learn how to use Handshake for career exploration and to find out what other students with similar majors and interests have done.

Strategies for Interviewing

Our interview skills workshop is designed to help students preparing for job or graduate school interviews. This workshop covers what to do before, during and after an interview. We provide techniques and strategies for preparing for interviews, answering interview questions and behaving confidently and professionally during your interview. This presentation can be used as the first step of our two-appointment process for Mock Interviews.
